Do Marshalls Sell Uggs

Léon Bloy, Blood The trap for the poor

.
Born in 1846, Léon Bloy, was haunted until his death in 1917, by the certainty of the impending End Times. A certainty that betrays an impatience to elect a prophet and witness of great events, an apocalyptic vision that is needed to withstand the miseries he suffered in the iron will and sought to follow their spiritual calling. The blood of the poor, consisting in three months in 1909, is one of the texts and the more extreme examples of his vast literary production: written in a language that anticipates sharp and inflamed Bernanos el'epopea desperate Celine, this pamphlet and disturbing "unpleasant" is full of love and hate, humility and pride. It The blood of the poor Bloy echoes of the "humiliated and offended," which, moreover, belonged to a life choice. However, the pamphlet does not simply express a feeling of violent revolt against social injustice, and not merely an indictment of wealth. Beyond the burning process to contemporary, from this text shows a much more radical, profound and shocking: the condemnation of a world started faster and faster towards disaster leveling out robotic and hedonistic.
